Every organizational function and department have different department KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) to understand the department/functional health and performance abilities.

Below definitions of these KPIs:
Department/Employee Engagement:
Departmental/Employee Engagement (1- low, 100 -highest) is a key driver of organizational success. Employee engagement is a measure of the emotional connection and commitment of an employee toward their organization, their work, and their team. It reflects their enthusiasm and dedication to contributing to their organization’s goals. Organization and teams with a high level of employee engagement are more likely to outperform those with lower levels. Highly engaged employees are typically more productive, innovative, and better problem-solvers. They tend to be more resilient, adaptable, and collaborative, fostering a positive and productive working environment.
To gauge employee engagement, many organizations utilize employee engagement surveys. While these surveys can provide valuable insights, it’s important to recognize that they are not infallible. The design and wording of questions can significantly impact the results.
Numerous factors influence employee engagement, including organizational success, company culture, and, most importantly, leadership. Toxic leadership, for example, may not immediately impact engagement scores but can lead to decreased engagement and retention over time.
By prioritizing employee engagement, organizations can create a more positive and productive workplace, ultimately driving business success.
Organizational Effectiveness:
Organizational effectiveness measures how thoroughly and efficiently an organization achieves its business goals. Ann effective organization/team runs like a streamlined, optimized, well-oiled machine. There are a lot of factors influencing effectiveness: e.g. leadership/management, employee performance and productivity, strategy, the right tools & technology, streamlined and easy to understand organizational processes and business models and the ability of the organization to innovate, adapt and enhance. In this simulation the EFFECTIVENESS KPI is used to show you in a simplified way how effective your organization is. The range is from 0 (not functioning) to 1.0 very effective to max. 1.2 superior effectiveness.
